This article analyzes the factors affecting the welfare of hospitalized animals, highlighting the influence of the clinical environment and management practices on recovery and quality of life. The research adopts both qualitative and quantitative approaches, based on a literature review, direct observations, and interviews with professionals. The data reveal that calmer, enriched environments tailored to each species promote more effective clinical responses. They also emphasize the importance of humane handling, personalized nutrition, and technical staff training. It is concluded that specific strategies aimed at improving welfare during hospitalization support recovery, reduce stress, and contribute to excellence in veterinary care.
