This article aimed to analyze accessibility at the Urban Terminal of Lages/SC, with the objective of identifying non-conformities and proposing adjustments according to the criteria of the ABNT NBR 9050:2015 standard – Accessibility to Buildings, Urban Spaces and Equipment. The methodology adopted involved a literature review and a case study, enabling a practical and detailed assessment of the site’s conditions. The analysis revealed significant accessibility failures, such as the absence of tactile signage, uneven sidewalks, and inadequacies in ramps and restrooms. Based on these findings, technical intervention suggestions were presented to eliminate these architectural barriers. The main results indicate that, although there are isolated initiatives, the terminal still lacks a structure that ensures full mobility and autonomy for people with disabilities or reduced mobility. It is concluded that adapting the space is essential to promote social inclusion and ensure the right to come and go for all citizens. The study also reinforces the importance of public managers' commitment to accessibility, highlighting that effective application of the standard can directly influence urban quality of life and the full exercise of citizenship.
