POLICE PERCEPTIONS CONSIDERING RISKS DURING THE EXECUTION OF JUDICIAL WRITS

Abstract

The moment that they become as a public security agent the Police Officer must be aware of the risk inherent to chosen the profession. Between the duties of the Military Police institution is their primary attribution is ostensive policing and the preservation of public order and compliance with the court orders, including arrest warrants and search and seizure warrants. This research has objective to analyze the perception of the risks during the execution of court orders, and their consequences in the criminal and administrative after execution by the agents. This analysis was applied to the Military Police Officers by the internal affairs department of Military the Parana state (PMPR) that’s work with Prosecutor’s Officer of Parana state (MPPR) in a Special Force to Combat Criminal Organization (GAECO) through the questionnaire to all GAECO units in Paraná, that’s englobe since the planning until the execution the enforcement of warrants. The methodology used is exploratory and descriptive, that’s based on the experiences of these military police officers, to verity the aspects has used to consider the risks when executing these enforcements, the support of the institution, the worry about update and operational training, the trust in the police officers who are part of their team and the personal protective equipment and weapons used in these police actions.
