This article aims to analyze how the application of servant leadership, based on James Hunter’s inverted pyramid model, can contribute to the efficiency and humanization of municipal public management in Alvarães, Amazonas, Brazil. The research adopts a quali-quantitative approach, with a descriptive and explanatory purpose, and is based on a bibliographic review, as well as open and closed questionnaires applied to managers, public servants, and citizens of the municipality. The proposal seeks to encourage reflection on management models that go beyond traditional hierarchies, emphasizing service, dialogue, and shared responsibility. The results point to the possibility of improvements in administrative efficiency, employee satisfaction, and citizen services.
