Abstract

This article aims to analyze international human trafficking from a legal perspective, highlighting the main regulatory instruments and policies developed at national and international levels. It uses a qualitative approach with a bibliographic and documentary review. The study highlights the seriousness of human trafficking as a violation of human rights and examines the role of the State, international organizations and current legislation. Finally, it proposes measures that contribute to improving public policies to combat human trafficking, with a focus on prevention, repression and assistance to victims.
