Abstract

Endometriosis is a chronic gynecological disease that considerably compromises women's emotional, social and physical health. The symptoms affect quality of life and often challenge the results of traditional treatments, such as hormone therapy and surgery. In these circumstances, physiotherapy has been an effective complementary approach, helping to improve functionality, promote well-being and relieve pain. This article aims to evaluate the physiotherapeutic interventions used in the management of endometriosis, based on a review of the scientific literature published between 2015 and 2025. The data analyzed indicates that physiotherapy, when integrated into a multidisciplinary treatment, can represent a significant advance in the health care of women with endometriosis.
