This paper aims to highlight cybercrimes, specifically those committed against the public assets of the municipality of Palmas (TO), between the years 2019 and 2024, focusing on electronic fraud, ransomware, and the misuse of institutional systems. During this period, the research evaluates the economic and social impacts of these crimes and analyzes the countermeasures adopted by public agencies. Thus, a mixed research methodology was employed for data collection and the development of this article.
