Abstract

Human identification is essential in forensic contexts, especially in situations where other methods of recognition are not viable. Dental arch analysis stands out due to the resistance of teeth to physical, chemical and biological agents, being crucial in mass disasters, accidents and criminal investigations. This article aims to analyze the main methods of identification through the dental arch, based on a literature review carried out in the PubMed, Scielo and BVS databases, between x and x.
