This paper analyzes Law No. 8,069 of July 13, 1990, known as the Child and Adolescent Statute (ECA), highlighting its crucial role in repressing child abuse in the state of Amazonas. The study emphasizes the collective involvement of public and private institutions in implementing the ECA, which establishes legal guidelines, protection mechanisms, and instruments to combat child abuse. The research highlights how the ECA promotes coordinated action between agencies such as the Guardianship Council, the Public Prosecutor's Office, and security forces, reinforcing preventive measures and assistance to victims. The effective implementation of the ECA demonstrates its significant impact on protecting and guaranteeing the rights of children and adolescents in vulnerable contexts.
