Introduction: Pre-hospital care aims to intervene quickly and agilely, acting directly with the patient, aiming at quality care, where the sum of practice and theory will be the differential for quality care, highlighting the main objective of saving lives. In this sense, the nursing team plays an essential role in APH, as it acts as service manager, as well as in direct patient care. Objective: To highlight the duties of the nursing team, in basic and advanced health units in mobile pre-hospital care, through a literary review. Methodology: This is an integrative review of the literature. This research is based on the following guiding question: What is the importance of the nursing team in Pre-Hospital Care? Data collection took place between March and April 2025, through the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Virtual Health Library (VHL) and Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (Lilacs) databases, using the descriptors in health sciences (Decs): prehospital care, emergency and urgency protocols, nursing team performance in emergency and urgency Nursing in APH Results and discussions: Prehospital care represents one of the most relevant fronts of health action, especially in urgent and emergency situations. The nursing team performs specific functions in this scenario, contributing directly to the stabilization and initial support of the patient before arrival at the hospital environment. Their rapid and technical interventions are essential in care that requires agility and precision. Conclusion: The performance of the nursing team in prehospital care represents a field of great responsibility, which demands technical preparation, agility and sensitivity. The care provided in this context directly influences the continuity of care and can contribute to the clinical stabilization of people at risk.
