This article sought to understand the Systematization of Nursing Care (SAE) for elderly patients hospitalized with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). This is a qualitative, descriptive, systematic review study that aims to synthesize the knowledge produced on the topic addressed. The SAE enables detection and specific planning, according to each client, according to their particularities, allowing guidance regarding possible interventions. Thus, nursing care is related to the development of strategies for the recovery and treatment of the client with BPH, acting directly in the adaptation to the patient's health and disease process, contributing to well-being and quality of life.
