This article analyzes the international responsibility of the United Nations in the Israel-Palestine conflict, with a focus on Resolution 181 and the unsuccessful attempts at administering Israel, pacification, and conflict resolution. The study employs historiographical, bibliographic and documentary research methods. The findings indicate that although the UN was established with broad objectives, it was still rooted in an 'old power' structure that passed the 1947 Resolution, which became a key trigger for the outbreak of the conflict. Consequently, the international policies implemented failed to produce the expected outcomes. This scenario raises the possibility of questioning the institution's effectiveness due to its inability to fulfill its goals, such as proposing reparative measures and reorganizing its institutional framework.
