Abstract

This study seeks to analyze the impact of the statute of limitations and statute of limitations on the review of acts granting benefits, highlighting their distinctions and exposing the recent legislative changes that show the plurality of understanding on the subject. To this end, we looked at doctrinal positions and case law that demonstrate the nuances in their effects, affecting ongoing actions and directly impacting the implementation of the principle of legal certainty.
