Abstract

The increasing digitization of our lives, the proliferation of personal information and online assets, has created a new and complex legal dilemma: how to reconcile traditional inheritance law with privacy law in the context of digital heritage.  It is through this dilemma, we observe in this study how the two areas can interconnect to preserve the right of his and his heirs. This study aims to address the concepts of traditional inheritance law, digital heritage, punctuating discussions that goes from conflict with the right of privacy. To this end, it is proposed to analyze, identify and discuss the points related to the topics addressed. Being a qualitative research, which was used of bibliographic reviews based on doctrines, legislation, books, dissertations and scientific articles.
