This is the first report in the literature of Dieulafoy's lesion in the cecum region in the pediatric population associated with Meckel's diverticulum in the distal ileum. Dieulafoy's lesion in the gastrointestinal tract is a rare but important cause of massive digestive bleeding in children, whereas Meckel's diverticulum is an intestinal malformation that can present painless bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract. In this article, we report the case of a 5-year-old male patient who was hospitalized for investigation of severe low digestive hemorrhage, requiring blood transfusion. Dieulafoy's lesion in the cecum was diagnosed, an unusual presentation site, as well as the presence of Meckel's diverticulum associated with an acute inflammatory abdomen. Both pathologies are difficult to diagnose in the pediatric population and should always remain in the mind of the attending physician in the face of a gastrointestinal tract hemorrhage.
