Abstract

This article describes the biography of the creation of the Universidade da Maturidade (UMA) and details its Political-Pedagogical Project, which is focused on the education of the elderly. The main focus is the promotion of social and educational inclusion for this age group, seeking to provide continuous and high-quality education. Additionally, the text discusses the key founders of UMA, their ideas, and contributions to strengthening this educational initiative, which aims to improve the quality of life and personal development of the elderly through education.
