Introduction: Prostate cancer is the most prevalent malignant neoplasm among men in Brazil. Its treatment may include various surgical approaches depending on disease severity and available resources. Objective: This study aimed to analyze the temporal evolution of hospital admissions for oncological prostate procedures in the western macro-region of Paraná from 2016 to 2023. Methodology: A descriptive, retrospective study with a quantitative approach was carried out using data from the DATASUS system. The procedures analyzed were: suprapubic prostatectomy, radical prostatovesiculectomy, and endoscopic resection of bladder tumor in oncology. Results: Suprapubic prostatectomy was more prevalent between 2016 and 2019, with a sharp decline from 2020 onwards. Endoscopic resection showed an increasing trend, while radical prostatovesiculectomy had very low occurrence. Conclusion: The findings suggest a growing preference for less invasive procedures and reveal inequalities in access to complex surgeries, highlighting the need for regionalized oncological health planning.
