Abstract

The present article aims to highlight two neurodegenerative diseases, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, by encompassing websites, articles, books, and an empirical perspective, correlating them with technical knowledge. It presents data, information, projections, studies, and expert opinions, reporting on these two emerging neurodegenerative diseases, which, in the author's view, will become a global epidemic in the near future. Furthermore, as of the publication of this article, there is no cure, vaccine, or effective treatment focused on a cure for either disease. The article emphasizes the crucial role of physical therapy in maintaining patients’ functional independence, addressing treatments, conservative exercises, and future techniques with the aid of technology.
