While in the past the construction of identity was built based on signs of reality, today that same identity is developed through digital screens, connecting young people to distant worlds through a simple touch of the screen. This educational paradigm shift has some consequences for the way we are today building our personality through these new digital spheres. In this sense, with this study we intend to analyze how young people today are building their identity and what the real impact is on their lives. The data seems to reveal that social networks present some obstacles that may be affecting the construction of these identities.
