Abstract

This article presents an experience report in a Family Health Strategy unit in Maceió, through which the authors, in the face of a reality that is not favorable to the socialization of children, due to the new Coronavirus pandemic, which imposes social distance to avoid their proliferation, and thinking of a positive interaction between health professionals and children who need to go to childcare consultations, they created some face protectors with fun details, with ears of animals and children's characters, using the work developed as a reference. by the LED-UFAL research group. Thus, the aim of this article is to demonstrate how a simple element can positively mediate the interaction between the nurse during the consultation. Electronic sites were used, such as Google Academic and SciELO; CAPES journals, to carry out the theoretical research of this article, using the DECs: child health care; the pandemic and childcare. It can be seen that, in addition to facilitating communication with children, the playful increment helps to establish respect, routines and the loss of fear. It is important that the practice of those involved in childcare is welcoming and humanized, especially nowadays.
