Introduction: Assisted Human Reproduction is a set of techniques that help women increase their chances of getting pregnant or even delay motherhood. It includes all reproductive processes assisted by medicine that involve in vitro manipulation of eggs, sperm, and embryos with the purpose of establishing a pregnancy. Objectives: To present approaches to Assisted Human Reproduction, identify techniques, and analyze their applications. Methods: A literature search was conducted in different databases using keywords. Discussion: Presentation of Assisted Human Reproduction techniques, their recommendations, advantages, and disadvantages. Conclusions: Assisted reproduction is constantly growing due to scientific and technological advancements. It is essential to establish a doctor-patient relationship to clarify the risks and benefits and ensure the best decision for those seeking this option. Assisted reproduction enables couples and women to build a family when they cannot do so naturally, driving societal progress and fulfilling the desire to become a mother.
