The integration of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices within the Military Police of the State of Paraná (PMPR) represents an important innovation in the field of public security, aiming to make the corporation more sustainable and aligned with current social and environmental demands. This article analyzes how the incorporation of these principles can promote more responsible and transparent management, strengthening the PMPR's relationship with society. The article, of a qualitative and exploratory nature, discusses practices already implemented by the corporation and suggests opportunities for PMPR to expand its ESG actions, such as adopting recycling, composting, solar energy, and electric vehicles. These practices would not only promote sustainability but also improve operational efficiency and resource management within the corporation. The article highlights how PMPR can become a change agent, contributing to a more equitable, transparent, and environmentally conscious society, aligning its public security mission with contemporary needs for sustainability and social inclusion.
