Objective: To analyze the maternal-fetal-obstetric complications of pregnant women attended at the Fundação Hospitalar São Lucas (FHSL) in Cascavel-PR, who contracted dengue during pregnancy and gave birth during the evaluated period. Methodology: A retrospective, quantitative, and descriptive study based on data from the medical records of pregnant women who contracted dengue during pregnancy, confirmed by a laboratory test or suspected cases with mandatory reporting, and gave birth at the Fundação Hospitalar São Lucas (FHSL) from August 1, 2023, to August 1, 2024. Data collected included age, trimester of infection, parity, maternal comorbidities, and birth outcomes. Results: A total of 20 patients were included in the study. The results revealed a predominance of patients aged 31 to 36 years, multiparous women, and those who acquired the disease in the third trimester of pregnancy. Hypothyroidism was the most common maternal comorbidity. Additionally, some women with comorbidities experienced complications such as anembryonic pregnancy and fetal hydrops. Regarding other outcomes, there were 15 cesarean deliveries, 4 vaginal deliveries, 2 postpartum hemorrhages, 1 abortion, 1 maternal and fetal death, and 1 low birth weight. Conclusion: Negative repercussions of dengue during pregnancy are particularly evident in those with pre-existing comorbidities.
