Relate the use of communication and information technology in basic education. For the present study, bibliographical research was carried out to support the study of opinions collected through a questionnaire informally applied to State Basic Education Teachers of Santa Catarina, in the city of Caçador, using as a criterion the study of the relationship between technological tools and their use by education professionals as cognitive learning methodologies for students. It was observed that teachers are aware of what is necessary technologically in the school environment, but financial limitations do not keep up, as well as the investment in professional qualifications is not up to date and consistent with the specific needs for each subject. We are experiencing the process of restructuring school environments, post Covid 19 Pandemic, which are still not enough, as we need devices, advice aimed at recycling knowledge and practices and finally technological modernization with tools suited to the context of the classroom.
