In addition, an analysis of the technologies used in leachate and gas control is carried out, seeking to understand how innovations contribute to the sustainability of landfills. The research also examines public policies and the challenges for the implementation of efficient waste management systems, focusing on Brazilian legislation and future perspectives for urban solid waste management.
