The paper seeks to show how dental health professionals can help identify violence against children and adolescents by identifying physical and behavioral signs that may indicate abuse. In addition, the research highlights the mandatory reporting of these cases, which was established by Brazilian legislation, especially the Child and Adolescent Statute (ECA). The implementation of digital tools as a facilitator of communication and reporting of abuse is also discussed, with the intention of reducing underreporting and providing greater protection for victims. It also highlights the importance of training health professionals, using technology, and strengthening the support network to address child abuse more efficiently.
