Introduction: Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI) and Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders (WRMSD) represent a set of injuries that result from excessive and improper use of the musculoskeletal system. Objectives: To present the epidemiological profile of RSI/WRMSD in the western macroregion of Paraná, analyzing gender, race, age group, education level, work shifts longer than 6 hours per day, population size, and movement limitations. Methodology: This descriptive, retrospective study follows a quantitative approach, using data from the DATASUS platform on patients with RSI/WRMSD from 2016 to 2023. Results: Among 379 patients, females predominated (73.61%), with the western macroregion accounting for 13% of cases in the state of Paraná. RSI/WRMSD were most common among white individuals aged 30 to 49 years. Conclusion: RSI/WRMSD cases have shown a steady increase in the western macroregion of Paraná, indicating a need for prevention strategies tailored to the regional conditions of western Paraná.
