Arboviruses are viral diseases transmitted by arthropods, mainly by mosquitoes, during their blood meal. In the Brazilian epidemiological scenario, the arboviruses with the highest incidence and impact in urban regions are Dengue, Zika and Chikungunya, which are transmitted by the same vector as the Aedes aegypti mosquito. Due to climate change, global warming, deforestation, accelerated urbanization, lack of effective public policies, among others; These viremias have a high potential for generating epidemic outbreaks, causing infections of concern, increasing mortality rates and morbidities. The present study aims to present health promotion and prevention actions, guided by nurses in the fight and control of cases of arboviruses and their clinical problems. The methodology used consisted of a literature review with a descriptive character and a qualitative approach. Aspects of urban arboviruses were discussed, as well as their forms of contagion, symptoms, prevention and the performance of nurses in the face of these viremias. Through the results and discussions of the research, the importance of nurses' improvement on arboviruses was seen, working with health promotion actions aimed at preventing and controlling these arboviruses.
