Congenital heart disease (CHD) are anomalies caused by anatomical defects in the heart and great vessels, which can cause significant impairment in the functionality of these structures. Such abnormalities can be isolated or related to genetic and environmental factors, use of drugs by the mother, and diseases acquired during pregnancy. CC has distinct and rapidly evolving clinical manifestations, which contributes to a high rate of morbidity and mortality. Intrauterine interventions have received increasing attention as a therapeutic option, as they present satisfactory results in relation to neonatal cardiac correction. To analyze diagnostic methods and prenatal intervention strategies in congenital heart diseases. This is an integrative literary review study. Data collection was carried out in the SciELO, BVS and PubMed databases. The inclusion criteria were articles available in full and in Portuguese and English from 2014 to 2024. The descriptors used were: “congenital heart disease”, “prenatal diagnosis” and “therapeutic methods”. The selected articles accounted for 3,710 articles, of which 15 met the inclusion criteria. It is expected that the results found in this study will contribute to knowledge of the importance of early diagnosis of congenital heart diseases, as well as prenatal therapeutic interventions.
