Abstract

This article will address the traumas caused to children and adolescents by sexual abuse. The consequences of this abuse throughout their lives will be analyzed. The guilt, the fear, the reversal of a love imposed on them. We will show what this abuse done within the family by perverse individuals and the perversity of this act. We will also show how psychoanalysis can help with the trauma of these children, so that they can, with this approach, heal all their fears and insecurities. Sexual abuse of children is one of the greatest violations of their human rights and most of these cases with children occur within the home and the aggressors are people they trust and, usually, family members. The laws for the protection of children and adolescents will also be explained.
