The research analyzed the role of digital technologies in the development of innovative curricula for teacher training, highlighting challenges and possibilities in the current educational scenario. The research used a literature review approach, examining relevant articles, theses and reports to understand educational changes in the digital age. The results showed that, even in the face of significant obstacles such as the lack of technological infrastructure and unequal access to technologies, there is great potential for the use of digital tools to promote more interactive and personalized teaching. The research showed that ongoing teacher training and the creation of adaptable teaching strategies are essential to overcome specific obstacles. The evaluation highlighted the relevance of a unified strategy that takes into account both technical and pedagogical elements in the application of technologies in education. In addition, the research emphasized the importance of government policies that promote digital inclusion and equal access to technological resources. The key takeaways highlight the urgent need for investments in technological infrastructure in teacher training institutions, digital skills training programmes and the creation of educational policies that ensure access to technologies only. It has been established that, in order to achieve more inclusive and efficient teacher education in the digital environment, joint collaboration between educators, administrators and policy makers is essential, with the aim of effectively and meaningfully incorporating digital technologies into teacher education programmes.
