IMPORTANCE OF KNOWLEDGE OF THE INFLUENCES OF ANXIETY, STRESS AND DEPRESSION ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF PSORIASIS

Abstract

This study addresses the disease Psoriasis and how it is influenced by anxiety, stress and depression. This is an integrative review with research in Scielo, Pepsic, Pubmed, Google Scholar, with the following words: psoriasis, anxiety, stress, depression. It is concluded that there is a strong link between the diseases mentioned and that there is a need for drug treatment and psychological therapies to prevent the disease from worsening and to avoid episodes of suicide, since it is a disease that affects the individual's physical and psychological aspects.
