This article aims to explore therapeutic approaches for the treatment of Osteonecrosis of the Jaws (ONJ) induced by bisphosphonates, a serious complication often associated with the treatment of conditions such as osteoporosis and bone metastases. The review encompasses 15 studies published between 2003 and 2023, highlighting both emerging therapies, such as ozone therapy and the use of Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), and advanced surgical techniques. Results indicate that ozone therapy promotes tissue healing and pain relief, while PRF has shown effectiveness in accelerating healing in surgical procedures. Moreover, in more advanced cases of ONJ, microsurgical techniques have provided significant functional and aesthetic rehabilitation. The analysis emphasizes the importance of a multidisciplinary approach involving dentists and oncologists in managing ONJ. Findings suggest that while conservative therapies are effective in early stages, surgical interventions remain fundamental in advanced cases, highlighting the need for further research to optimize clinical outcomes.
