Artificial intelligence (AI) has been gaining ground in several areas of healthcare, bringing innovations and new technologies to the workplace, minimizing working hours. Promoting optimized results for professionals and their clients. AI is also capable of simulating orthodontic aligners, assisting the professional in diagnosing and developing an effective treatment plan. Providing the patient with the privilege of being able to see an estimated result during the first consultation, thus generating stimulation. Within orthodontics, artificial intelligence operates in a series of analyses, such as cephalometric analysis, dental analysis, facial analysis, 3D scanners and computed tomography scans, determining skeletal maturation and assessment of upper airway obstruction, to comprehensively qualify the general profile. of patients, including their facial profile, dental and skeletal relationship, stages of skeletal maturation and upper airway patency.
