Abstract

This article aims to address the importance of quality in health services and how this correlates with the manager's leadership and team motivation. It is well known that issues related to team satisfaction, teamwork, good relationships with leadership and a pleasant work environment end up motivating team members, with a consequent positive return on the work performed. Raising the quality standards of care is now a major differentiator in health services. Therefore, the importance of competent, motivating and leading management is highlighted for a continuous improvement in care standards.
