Abstract

Aristotle, a Greek philosopher, discusses ethics, moral, and justice in his work "Nicomachean Ethics," addressing everyday actions to establish a true treatise on good living in society. The concepts covered in this work can be related to contemporary brazilian criminal procedural law, demonstrating the relevance and influence of Aristotelian thought on the Western legal science. This article seeks to analyze and relate basic concepts of criminal procedural law to those addressed by Aristotle in "Nicomachean Ethics," as well as to highlight the relevance of these ideas in the face of challenges faced by legislators and law enforcers.
