Urolithiasis is a disease characterized by the formation of high concentrations of polycrystalline material, and in some cases non-crystalline, inside the urinary bladder. Its etiology is multifactorial and may be related to genetic factors, congenital anatomical anomalies, diet and bacterial infections. The main objective of this research is to describe a clinical case of urolithiasis associated with a congenital malformation, the vesicourachal diverticulum (VUD), complemented by a brief review of the literature to contextualize the case report. It is concluded that the association between urolithiasis and vesicourachal diverticulum (VUD) reinforces the importance of a detailed and early diagnosis, since congenital malformations can predispose the patient to the development of serious urinary disorders. Surgical treatment, combined with appropriate drug therapy, proved to be effective in resolving the condition, highlighting the relevance of multidisciplinary approaches in veterinary medicine.
