ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT: INEXORÁVEL PATH FOR THE PRESERVATION OF THE PLANET

This article presents a topic of great importance and relevance to our society, environmental management, and addresses the challenges faced in relation to environmental preservation and sustainability, as well as the importance of implementing public policies aimed at solving environmental issues. The study presents a review of the main approaches and practices of environmental management, the role of the public manager as administrator of public resources allocated to environmental management, as well as the need for civil society participation together with public agencies in monitoring actions related to the environment. The article also provides an approach to the law of administrative improbity and its relationship with environmental management, and how environmental management has acted in favor of the preservation and maintenance of the environment and the results obtained in the state of Pernambuco, with a focus on the scope of the Court of Justice of the State of Pernambuco - TJPE, for the benefit of the artificial environment. For this purpose, bibliographic research was carried out on environmental management in Brazil, on the subject, as primary data, but also consultation of journals and scientific articles, as secondary data. The objective of the research is to show the importance of preserving and conserving the environment and the challenges faced by organizations to remain sustainable.
