This article proposes a detailed review of Ordinance No. 361 of April 27, 2006, which establishes the Official Communication Instructions (ICO) of the Military Police of Paraná (PMPR). The analysis focuses on the first five chapters of the ordinance, identifying formal and material errors that may compromise the clarity and precision of official communication. In addition to correcting these errors, the study suggests adjustments to align the standard with the technological innovations introduced, such as the e-Protocol system, and with contemporary grammatical norms. The goal is to make the ICO a more up-to-date, precise, and useful instrument for military police officers throughout the state of Paraná.
