This article focuses on juvenile delinquency in the municipality of Cacuaco, a city and municipality in the province of Luanda in Angola. It aims to analyze juvenile delinquency from a sociological analysis. Specific objectives include understanding the factors that drive juvenile delinquency in Cacuaco; discuss policy to combat youth violence in this municipality and, finally, propose mechanisms for re-education and reduction of violence. In this sense, the study discussed the main causes that lead young people to enter the world of crime. The methodology used is based on an exploratory, documentary and bibliographic study, combined with field research, using a form (semi-structured interviews). Data were collected in two moments: the first through a printed questionnaire and the second through Google Form.
