Penile neoplasms are a challenge in clinical diagnosis due to the emotional and social impact associated with the disease, and due to the complexity of treatment, being a rare multifactorial disease. Despite the high prevalence in the North and Northeast regions, five times higher than in other Brazilian regions, there are no studies that characterize the scenario of penile cancer in the Legal Amazon in relation to the national context. In this sense, the objective was to outline the epidemiological profile of this neoplasm in the regions and compare them to the Legal Amazon within a period of one decade. A retrospective, quantitative study was conducted on mortality from penile cancer in the years 2012 to 2022, using data available in DATASUS, choosing the ICD-10 C60 for data selection and classifying them by Regions/Federal Units, choosing the variables of age group, color/race, education and marital status and repeating the process, selecting the states of the Legal Amazon. The results obtained show that there were 845 deaths during the period and that, although the region follows national trends, there are singular contrasts between the states in the region. Greater attention is needed in the region to address its peculiarities and direct policies appropriate to the particularities of each state.
