Within the scope of Consumer Law, rights are categorized into diffuse, collective and homogeneous individual. Diffuse rights are characterized by the indeterminacy of the holders and the indivisibility of the protected legal good, covering the interests of an indeterminate group of people, such as the right to a healthy environment and public health. Collective rights refer to the interests of a specific group of people, but which are also indivisible, such as the right of residents of a neighborhood to adequate public services. Homogeneous individual rights concern damages suffered in a similar way by a group of consumers, allowing the collective defense of individual rights, as in the case of consumers affected by misleading advertising.
