THE IMPORTANCE OF USING DRONES IN THE CONTEXT OF THE MILITARY POLICE OF THE STATE OF PARANÁ

Abstract

This article sought to discuss the importance and benefits of using drones in the Military Police of the State of Paraná, highlighting how this technology can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of police actions. Using a methodological approach based on bibliographical research, several articles and publications on the subject were analyzed to provide a comprehensive and critical view. The main results indicate that the use of this technology makes it possible to carry out complex and high-risk missions without putting agents in danger, in addition to providing a detailed and comprehensive aerial view, essential for monitoring large areas and detecting suspicious activities. It is also evident in this work that the PMPR already uses this technology, and this article aims to broaden the horizons and reinforce the importance of using drones in the police service. It is concluded that the integration of drones in PMPR operations represents a significant advance in the modernization of public security, allowing a faster and more efficient response to the population's security demands and contributing to the construction of a safer society.
