PUBLIC SECURITY POLICY IN PREVENTION

Abstract

The theme of this work is issues related to public security, due to the preventive context incorporated in such policies, providing a feeling of security enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic. Some authors write in line with current views on homeland security policy, others do not. They consider citizen security or prevention as a violence management solution and the most effective ways to combat high levels of violence. The organization studies the level of violence that plagues Brazil, historical evidence about “murder” in our country, presents information on planned and preventive measures carried out by security agencies across the country, in addition to displaying public security policy data, which are organized according to the idea of ​​protection or security of citizens, this shows good results, the type of policies that can provide society as a whole and for those who do not have access to government programs as prescribed by the constitution. This way the work tries to highlight the importance of changing the dominant concept in public security policies, changing the army to a democratic army, a comprehensive and challenging security for public administration.
