Abstract

This is an allusion to the introductory aspects of Discourse Analysis from the point of view of two great exponents of the discipline, Michel Pêcheux and Michel Foucault. Linked to both language and social sciences, AD seeks to understand a space in which both interconnect and talk to each other, discourse. To understand how to carry out such an analysis, a work was chosen, characterized, analyzed and some of its excerpts were transcribed in order to understand the discursive effect of the work, or even which ideologies surround it. The work Eu sei que Vou Te Amar, by Arnaldo Jabor, deals with the theme of love, relationships, but mainly the conflicts that involve them. A reflective look at this work also means a reflective look at the discourse of love and all the other discourses that exist behind it.
