INTRODUCTION: Adhesive Capsulitis (AC) is an inflammatory, painful and debilitating condition that affects the shoulder joint capsule, having an impact on the daily activities of the individual affected by it. OBJECTIVE: To describe the physiotherapeutic intervention in Adhesive Capsulitis, exploring the journey of experience with a patient in this condition. METHODOLOGY: This experience report was carried out during the supervised internship at the Municipal Physiotherapy Unit. It discussed the impacts caused by AC on the patient's well-being, as well as the etiological factors of this condition. For this, anamnesis and clinical tests were carried out. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: After physiotherapy sessions focusing on kinesiotherapy, a reduction in pain was observed, as well as gains in range of motion, flexibility and strength on the part of the patient. During the exercises, instruments were used, such as: rope, elastic bands and Mini band. As he progressed, he was discharged from the physiotherapy service. FINAL CONSIDERATIONS: The findings were discussed in order to highlight the relevance of individualized physiotherapeutic intervention in the treatment of AC and how it can optimize the rehabilitation of each patient's functional mobility, positively impacting their quality of life.
