In all environments, whether external or internal, we have the factor of lighting, which is important for any activity to be carried out in an efficient and safe manner. The present work aims to demonstrate the methodology for analyzing lighting levels required in internal environments, more specifically the classroom of a public university, using technical procedures based on the NHO 11 Occupational Hygiene standard. to understand the necessary points and procedures of the standard, followed by a survey of the characteristics of the location and finally, actually carrying out the measurements, adopting illuminance levels to be measured. When analyzing the results, it is possible to state that the object of study does not meet the minimum lighting levels required by the standard for the type of task for which it is intended.
