Kaposi's sarcoma is a multifocal angioproliferative neoplasm that mainly affects the skin and mucous membranes causing various lesions, one of the defining diseases being Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS). The present study aims to report a clinical case of a male patient recently diagnosed with HIV infection and also affected by a dermatological condition compatible with Kaposi's sarcoma. This is a descriptive study of the case report type through review of medical records and information collected by the university hospital. Adequate patient management and work-up depend on the approach and early detection of the disease to improve the quality of life of the affected individual.
