This work addresses the international trafficking of women aimed at sexual exploitation, resulting in excessive profitability within the crime network. The crime highlighted is characterized by the way in which recruiters choose their victims, being deceived with false promises of well-paid employment and a better life in another country, influencing more vulnerable women, both emotionally and financially. The article aims to analyze the characteristics of women in society and gender division, to understand the reasons that cause women the consequences that this practice causes, as well as the profiles of victims and recruiters. The aim is to understand existing legislative protections for trafficking in international treaties and measures that must be taken in our legal system. Therefore, we intend to analyze the reason why several women are the most trafficked gender in the world for the purposes of sexual exploitation continues to happen intensely, such as the fight against international trafficking in women, with the aim of identifying which government actions in in favor of combating trafficking in women are effective. Thus, the methodology adopted is qualitative research and the deductive method.
