This work aims to present and characterize the conjuncture of irrigated fruit in Polo Petrolina-PE and Juazeiro-BA, in a specific way, to highlight agricultural production, the planted area, the generation of jobs and income and the participation of the region in the international market of fruits. Therefore, a survey of secondary data on the production, exports and imports of fruit was carried out at the global, national, state and regional levels. In addition, the data was exposed through graphs and tables in a way that facilitated the understanding by the interested parties. Thus, it was verified that the region of Vale do Submédio São Francisco presents favorable structural, economic, social and edaphoclimatic conditions for fruit cultivation, in addition, the place is predominant in Brazil's grape and mango exports, as the region is responsible almost 100% of exports of these fruits. However, it was observed that small rural producers work in isolation and this lack of unity can result in a disadvantage in adding value and selling their goods. Therefore, for this problem to be solved, it would be necessary to intervene in public and private policies in the region so that there could be cooperation between small rural producers.
